Client

Schroders is a global asset management company, currently responsible for £130.6 billion worth of investment. Clients span from insurance companies, Corporations, local and public authorities, charities and pension funds to name a few. Schroders have offices across five continents with analysts covering the world's investment markets.

 

In December 2007, Pod1 was appointed as the global creative digital partner and challenged to target both their B2C and B2B audiences.

Objective

The brief for the first campaign was to launch a new fund and concept for the first time in Europe, to create campaigns both for the UK and Continental trade market and also direct to the consumer. All campaigns needed to continue to position Schroders as a forward thinking company; as well as effectively building on to the success of the old campaigns. Pod1 was also tasked to work alongside the offline advertising agency to develop these strong communications.

Solution

Pod1 took the offline advertising collateral and showcased the brand and its values through the use of animation and interactivity. The campaigns carried a strong yet subtle financial message, via a contemporary execution.

Result

The four campaigns implemented so far have been a massive success and have beaten all the client’s previous online advertising records. Pod1 and Schroders are set to continue with a long and mutually beneficial relationship. The campaigns executed to date all showed healthy click through rates and clearly demonstrate that the creative has performed well for both the trade and consumer markets.
