Objective
Hampered by an obsolete website that was neither user-friendly nor demonstrative of the company's reputation for excellence, Hiscox required a digital agency to redo its web design, guide its web development and provide an effective multi-user Content Management System. It was imperative that the new system could be adopted by a high volume of users and critical that it embodied Hiscox's strong offline identity, harmoniously uniting its different brands. Also the website had to organize the thousands of pages of information generated by this content-rich organisation.
Solution
Working closely with Hiscox's communications team and IT department, Pod1 established the company's business objectives and developed a strategic campaign for delivering effective online marketing solutions. A highly advanced and secure CMS was created utilising proven technologies. Stringent testing followed where third parties invited to attempt to hack the site to prove its security.
Result
Following the highly successful launch of the site and the successful streaming and redirecting of the company's online presence, Pod1 became Hiscox's approved creative supplier and online brand guardian. Pod1 has gone on to redesign the websites of 16 of the company's products and take its online presence into the global arena. Hiscox online properties now enjoy 6% customer conversion.
