06.12.2007 Schroders Selects Pod1

The international asset management and investment firm Schroders has appointed Pod1 as their new online marketing agency.

Pod1 will be creating a comprehensive online marketing campaign to help Schroders gain the greatest benefits from their existing website & online presence. In overall terms, the marketing campaign will help to increase the profile of the company online and to increase the exposure for the online audience.

This decision follows the appointment earlier this year, of their new head of marketing, James Rainbow. He received the promotion after James Cardew was promoted to pan-European marketing head. Previously James was with Baring Asset Management.

Schroders made the decision to make use of more accessible internet-based campaigns last year in order to catch the attention of clients and draw them to its highly effective fund management products.

The initial Schroders campaign made use of a Wild West theme designed to increase attention and usage of its Income Maximiser fund.
